Exposure to the highest-paid commercial marketing
IM Interns work to educate themselves on the use of marketing techniques that cutting edge technology companies need, all while working with IM and supporting a collaborative teamwork environment. A rich semester of work is designed for the IM Intern to best use their college-training and expertise and apply it to REAL marketing projects. This not only allows the intern to sharpen their current skills, but to search out where they want to contribute most based on their passion for business, marketing, and communications.

Paid and unpaid internships for undergraduate and graduate students
Past interns have had diverse educational interests, such as marketing, business management, communications and public relations. Some interns have more technical expertise from science and engineering majors and can contribute more technically to IM projects. IM Interns can expect to work on substantive projects, develop professional skills, and benefit from the personal attention of a mentor.
The primary purpose of the Injected Media internship program is to give students an opportunity to learn about technology marketing business practices. By the end of the internship, each student will have the skills and knowledge necessary to allow him or her to make a significant contribution to technology and marketing.

IM interns will actively work on projects and have a hands-on learning experience – invaluable in creating a well-rounded marketing expert. The IM Corporate Internship is certified (for successful completed semester-long internships) and is ideal for students who want to earn University/College credit. Students who complete a semester internship will be evaluated professionally – given written feedback that helps the intern to develop personally and professionally – and if positive, is also given a letter of recommendation.

- Always a potential for hire: After one completed semester and if the IM Intern is outstanding, they are given the option to receive a stipend with the potential possibility for hire. Requirements: We’re looking for talent
You get what that means, right? Awesome people who can play the piano with their toes while singing a song that they’ve personally written in collaboration with a major record company. And that’s not even the half of it.
IM is looking for individuals who have exceptional interpersonal skills and are able to build and maintain strong professional relationships. A determined problem solver and a creative thinker is a must. Interns need to be informed about the world around them and be keenly interested in developing their research skills. Further, interns will have to possess excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. As with any industry marketing position – It is critical that interns have the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. There’s no hand-holding at IM…it’s all about an intern’s ambition to grow.

NOTE: These are general IM Internship qualifications only. Depending on the internship, other qualifications may be required.
- Must be a junior or senior in college majoring in one of the following fields: business, marketing, communications, visual arts / graphic design, engineering and computer science. (Other majors may be considered if applicable.)
- Must have a GPA of at least 3.0
- Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven leadership skills (community involvement is great!)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- 10-20 hours a week
- Set school schedule
NOTE: These are general IM Internship qualifications only. Depending on the internship, other qualifications may be required.
According to how well you performed and contributed during the internship, there will be potential positions available.
A successfully completed internship will last a semester, however there will be an option of extending the internship further if requested.
If you’re applying for the:
Spring Semester, the deadline is by January 15th.
Summer, the deadline is May 1st
Fall Semester, the deadline is August 1st.
The internship will be offered as school credit in cooperation with College/University department advisors, however, interns may be able to qualify for pay or stipends during the internship depending on previous experience or technical skills.
Within two weeks of the second interview.
You will have to be available for the sum of this program to be able to participate. All interns are treated as employees and are expected to perform as such. This means that interns are required to show up – and yes, it must be on time.
